Hello! We are Matt and Isis (pronounced Ee-sis) Haggarty. We are college sweethearts and will soon celebrate 22 years of marriage. We are blessed with seven (yes, 7 – we get asked that a lot) wonderful children: Michaela, JP, Christian, Jacob, Landon, Andrew and Owen and three awesome dogs, Bruschi, Fiona and Charlotte (miss Charlie!). Shortly after graduating college, we married and started our oversized family. After a few moves and 9 years in sunny Tampa, FL, a change in jobs brought us to Waxhaw, NC (just south of Charlotte) where we found out what Southern living really means. It didn’t take long for us to become avid outdoor family that loves to fish, hunt, whitewater raft and hike with our dogs. Over the past 9 years we have made the Tar Heel State our forever home.

 

Both graduates from the University at Albany, Matt has a background in marketing and business while Isis graduated with a degree in Child Psychology and ran a successful photography business focused on lifestyle family portraits.

 

Our connection to the founders of Firefly Forts, the Scaglione’s, dates back to our time in Tampa, where Matt and Mike worked together and became fast friends. We were drawn toFirefly Forts because it gave us the ability to connect with what we know best – growing families and kids. We could not be more excited to bring Firefly Forts to Charlotte where we know we will create incredible memories for families here in North Carolina!
